Use of the app with or without creating an account
When using the app without creating an account, your data is completely anonymous. However, if you change devices or the app crashes, your data will be lost completely and cannot be recovered.
We therefore recommend creating an account.
Study ID
A study ID may be assigned by the study physician when participating in a clinical study. A study ID is not required to use the app. Simply leave the field blank.
Medication in Daily Symptoms
Please note that medications must be recorded in “My story” in order to be displayed in the daily documentation.

How much does it cost to use the MASTHAVE app?
The MASTHAVE app is available free of charge for patients in the app stores.
Is my data secure?
No personal data is stored, your recorded data is anonymized. It is therefore not possible to identify you personally.
Do I need a Study ID and where can I get one?
The study ID is not required to use/register the app. If you have received one or more IDs from your treating physician, you can enter them.
How does my treating physician receive my data?
To ensure that you always have control over your data, there are no interfaces or automated data transfers. You can always decide who your want to share your data with. For example, you can share your report as a PDF with your doctor via email. We recommend encryptiong the PDF with a password before sending it and sending the password to the doctor separately. As a secure option, your doctor can receive the data directly on his PC at your appointment using a QR code and save it to the patient's file.
What are the questionnaires / scores?
The questionnaires are validated questionnaires (PROM - Patient Related Outcome Measures) provided by Moxie GmbH. These were previously only given to patients by physicians during treatment and for monitoring the progress of mastocytosis and are now available digitally to patients for daily support in the MASTHAVE app.
Where can I get further help with the diagnosis and treatment of my mastocytosis?
There are several mastocytosis centers that specialize in the treatment of mastocytosis.
Can I change my "My story" information later?
Yes, you can change your details at any time, for example if you have new test results. To do so, tap on "My story", locate the appropriate area and tap on "Edit". Please remember to save your changes.
